12 VDC to 120 VAC Inverter Circuit

12 VDC to 120 VAC Inverter Circuit

Ever bare a low ability 120volt AC ability antecedent for your car, van or truck? Well this ambit should do the ambush for you. It will accumulation 15 watts of AC ability to a device. It should ability lamps, shavers, baby stereos and baby appliances. If you draw to abundant ability the ambit will shut bottomward all by itself. The achievement of this ambit is a aboveboard beachcomber so there may be some apparent hum on audio units acquainted into it. To abate some of the hum access the amount of the achievement capacitor which is at .47uf now. That transistor in the ambit are aerial ability PNP transistors. Radio Shack allotment cardinal 276-2025 are acceptable ones to use or TIP32. The agent is a 24 volt 2 amp centermost broke accessory Radio Shack allotment cardinal 273-1512 or equivalent.

LT3582 12 DC 5V to 12V DC Converter Wiring diagram Schematic

Using LT3582-12 dual channel DC DC converter integrated schema, manufactured by Linear Technology, can be designed a very simple step up dc converter. This 5 to 12V c converter electronic project provide both positive and negative outputs required in many biasing applications such as active matrix OLED (organic light-emitting diode)displays as well as CCD (charge coupled device) applications.

Build

The LT3582 offer an I2C interface that can dynamically program output voltages, power sequencing and output voltage ramps as the application requires. The LT3582’s positive output voltage can be set between 3.2V and 12.775 in 25mV steps, whereas the negative output can be set between -1.2V and -13.95V in 50mV steps. The LT3582-12 is preconfigured with ±12V output, requiring no future programming.

12 Volt Battery Guardian Wiring diagram Schematic

Dont get caught with a flat battery; this easy-to-build schema can cut off the power to a 12V fridge or car stereo system if the battery voltages drops below critical level. Electric fridges in vans and 4WDs are a great idea but if you are not careful, they can severely discharge the battery and leave you stranded. Maybe the battery will end up with severe damage as well. The same problem applies if you have a big stereo system and you like to play it without the motor running.

Main features:
  • Cuts power to load (eg, fridge) when battery voltage drops below a preset level.
  • 10A rating.
  • Low power drain.
  • Chirping sound during cut-out.
  • Flashing LED indication during cut-out.
  • Automatically reconnects power when battery recharged.
Operation on 12V is fine when the motor is running and battery charge is maintained but if the fridge is allowed to run for too long when the motor is stopped, it can flatten the battery in a relatively short time. This is where the Battery Guardian comes into play. It monitors the battery voltage and disconnects power to the fridge before the battery becomes too flat to allow the engine to be started again.

12 W car radio power amplifier

General Description

The TDA1020 is a monolithic integrated 12 W audio amplifier in a 9-lead single in-line (SIL) plastic package. The device is primarily developed as a car radio amplifier. At a supply voltage of VP= 14,4 V, an output power of 7 W can be delivered into a 4 Ω load and 12 W into 2 Ω. To avoid interferences and car ignition signals coming from the supply lines into the IC, frequency limiting is used beyond the audio spectrum in the preamplifier and the power amplifier. The maximum supply voltage of 18 V makes the IC also suitable for mains-fed radio receivers, tape recorders or record players. However, if the supply voltage is increased above 18 V (< 45 V), the device will not be damaged (load dump protected). Also a short-circuiting of the output to ground (a.c.) will not destroy the device. Thermal protection is built-in. As a special feature, the circuit has a low stand-by current possibility.
